Following seven years as the CFO for the property company John Mattson, Maria Sidén has announced her intent to step down from her position.
John Mattson Fastighetsföretagen AB became a listed company in 2019. The company was previously family-owned by heirs to the master builder John Mattson. Following many years of operations concentrated in Lidingö, after the listing John Mattson has expanded through acquisitions, and is now also established in the City of Stockholm as well as Sollentuna, Upplands Väsby and Nacka Municipality.
“I’m proud of the work that I and my colleagues have done together to develop John Mattson into a listed company. It has been exciting and educational to be part of the company’s growth and to contribute to increased property value. After seven years, I believe it’s time to move on to new challenges,” says Maria Sidén.

She played an important role in successfully establishing the company on the stock exchange and under Maria’s management, the company has grown, economically and financially, from a family business to a listed company. Maria Sidén will remain in her current role during the notice period. The recruitment process for a new Chief Financial Officer will begin immediately.
