Precautionary measures affecting John Mattson’s Annual General Meeting as a result of COVID-19

• The AGM agenda will be addressed by the Chairman of the AGM without any separate presentations, and the speech by the Chief Executive Officer will be uploaded on www.johnmattson.se at 10:00 a.m. CEST on 21 April 2020. A short film about John Mattson and the history of the company will premiere at the same time and be available on the company’s website.

• Attendees from John Mattson, including Board members and management, will be kept to a bare minimum.

• Through a service being provided by the company’s registrar, Computershare, any shareholder registered to attend the AGM and holding no more than 100,000 shares will be able to vote whilst not being physically present at the AGM by appointing Computershare to vote on their behalf. John Mattson recommends that all shareholders holding less than 100,000 shares use the service offered by Computershare. The proxy is available on request by contacting Computershare at telephone +46 771 24 64 00 or by e-mail [email protected] – the company urges shareholders to exercise their voting rights in the above manner.
• There will be no food or beverages served before, during or after the AGM.
• All external guests, including media and other stakeholders, are requested not to attend the AGM.

The company hopes that the application of these precautionary measures will allow, the AGM to be held. However, restrictions in Sweden on gatherings of people are continuing to evolve and it is by no means certain that it will be possible to hold the AGM in any format on 21 April 2020. John Mattson is monitoring the situation closely and will advise if further action is to be taken.
